哪些专业与每个人的日常生活息息相关，大到一辆车，小到一双鞋，都有它的足迹？工业设计，必然是答案之一。深耕于制造业的高管与专家们，在工业设计里看到了创新与竞争力；而年轻一代的产品工程师们，也意识到在满足功能的基础上需要实现美好视觉。当“工业设计赋能制造业”已然成为产业强音，提升美学欣赏力和设计创新意识，是奋斗在制造业的专业技术人员的共需。

本年度“苏州科学家日系列活动“，在太仓市科技协会的大力支持下，诚邀华东理工大学艺术设计与传媒学院聂桂平教授，以理论与实践相结合的方式，为工程师阐述工业设计的主要理论和思想方法，展示设计的创意思维落地过程。7月23日，让我们跟随聂教授的步履，感受设计之美。

Which majors are closely related to everyone's daily life, ranging from a car to a pair of shoes? Industrial design must be one of the answers. Executives and experts from manufacturing industry have seen innovation and competitiveness in industrial design; while the young product engineers are also aware of the need to achieve good design on the basis of satisfying functions.When "industrial design empowers manufacturing" has become a strong voice in the industry, enhancing aesthetic appreciation and design innovation awareness is also a common need for professional and technical personnel working in the manufacturing industry.

Sponsored by Taicang Association for Science and Technology, as one of the activities of "Suzhou Scientists Day", we sincerely invite Professor Nie Guiping from the School of Art Design and Media of East China University of Science and Technology to introduce the main theories of industrial design for engineers by combining theory, practicing, and thinking methods, also demonstrate the creative thinking process of design. 专业经验 Professional Experience：

聂教授长期从事产品设计、人机交互相关的理论研究和应用研究；

Professor Nie has long engaged in product design , human-computer interaction related theoretical research and application research;

曾在国家一级出版社出版教材及专著十余部，研究论文五十余篇，外观设计专利十余项；

Previously published more than 10 textbooks and monographs, more than 50 research papers in the national first-class publishing house，and more than 10 design patents;

曾主持并完成的设计研究项目涉及智能安防系统、装置艺术、电梯内饰及配件、数控机床、汽车配件、数码产品、家具、卫浴产品、厨房电器、陶瓷器皿、家庭用品及儿童玩具等领域。

Previously presided over and completed design and research projects involving intelligent security system, installation art, elevator interior and accessories, CNC machine tools, auto parts, digital products, furniture, bathroom products, kitchen appliances, ceramic utensils, household products and children's toy, and other Fields.
