On my mother’s fifty-year old birthday, I took my parents on a trip to Zhangjiajie. Before that, our last travel dated back to my high school. This astonished me. I often travel with my friends, my husband, and can’t think of to spend the leisure time with my parents.

During the trip, my parents and I enjoyed the spectacular mountains, local dance performance and tasty foods. The memories came back to me that I felt like I was still a child, a teenager exploring new things from the world with my parents. The difference was that, this time, I did all the arrangements for the journey, and my parents could relax wholeheartedly.

We had many deep talks along the way, about my life, my career, and all the topics that I was very bored to talk with them on the phone. Travel provided us a good chance to discuss face to face, and people who immersed in the beautiful scenery are easily to open their heart.

Travel offers us the opportunity to spend private time with our beloved ones, and reinforce the connections with people. Apart from that, travel also brings us new experience of life, and broaden our horizons. Even with no purposes, just wandering in the city or nature is also the meaning of travel.
