#English Reading Club# is a book reading club gathering people who love reading English original books, and enjoy discovering the  beauty of it, we'd like to share and communicate our perspective regarding books with an open mind, heart and will. 'If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together', would you like to go with us?

关于晨间英文共读

在过去两年多时间里，#English Reading Club#组织过二十场线下英文阅读活动，而在更早些年我参加并组织过的英文活动近五十场，发现一个很有意思的现象是多数人在自我介绍后，总会加上一句 'My English is very poor, sorry, I would like to learn from you', 而这些人其实都经历过初中高中和大学阶段数十年的英语学习生涯，或许我最初可以把这句话理解为中国人的谦虚，但在随后的活动中发现他们在表达中的不自信，或担心语法，或担心发音，或绞尽脑汁中翻英，听众却还是不明白他们想表达什么。

我在外企工作九年多，每天都要和国外同事邮件电话，并且现在我老板就是老外，我深深明白和老外沟通他们不care你的语法，不care你的口音，他们care的是你想表达什么，你们要如何合作来解决问题，CONTENT MATTERS, it leads to GETTING THINGS DONE.

很多人有问我怎么学习英语，怎么提高口语，我的回复很简单：找到一个英文环境多练习。不知道他们会不会以为我在敷衍，但我说的是我自己以及认识的很多英语好的人共同的经验，或许有人天赋异禀找到捷径，但对于处于正态曲线80%的普通人来说，找到一个英文环境多练习才是最直接的以慢为快的方式。

#English Reading Club#想提供一个英文环境，每天一段英文文章让大家朗读，不要担心语法，不要担心发音，不要想着翻译，只是让大家先开口说起来，日复一日，至于结果会是如何，you'll find out at the end of this year.
